TONIGHT’S SCRIPTURE
“Plentiful peace belongs to those that love your instruction; nothing makes them stumble.” Psalms 119:165 CSB
SOMETHING TO PONDER
Have you ever ever had these days if you’re anxious and might’t appear to close off your thoughts? Your thoughts mercilessly jumps from one downside to the subsequent or turns into fixated and circulates round one difficulty you’ll be able to’t appear to resolve. But, on the flip aspect, have you ever ever had a day when, regardless that issues had been difficult and seemingly unimaginable, you had an unwavering peace? Or maybe you’re nonetheless trying to find that peace. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus says,
“However search first the dominion of God and His righteousness, and all these items shall be added to you.”
In Psalm 23:1, David writes, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not need.” When Jesus is our primary precedence, all the things else falls into place, not essentially bodily, however we’ve ample peace understanding He’s in management, and if we’ve Him, we’ve all we’d like. Spending time in God’s Phrase reminds us of truths that anchor us amidst any storms we could also be dealing with.
YOUR NIGHTLY PRAYER
Father,
Thanks that when we’ve you, you’re greater than sufficient. With you, we’re the bulk. With you, all issues are doable (Matthew 19:26). With you, we’ve all the things we’d like for all times and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Lord, no matter we face, we all know out of your phrase that you just’re larger than something we face. You’re able. You’re good. Please grant us peace tonight. Assist our minds to be on you and never the troubles at hand.
Amen.
THREE THINGS TO MEDITATE UPON
1. Think about what it means to have the Prince of Peace as your Father.
2. Think about a quiet physique of water and keep in mind Psalm 23:2 that claims, “He makes me lie down in inexperienced pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.”
3. Deal with every breath you are taking, understanding God is sustaining you. Take a second to thank Him for every breath you are taking.
