This 11-month-old, named Himalaya, has formally settled into her new dwelling on the Zoo’s pink panda habitat. She involves Buffalo from the Greenville Zoo in Greenville, South Carolina as a part of the Affiliation of Zoo and Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan (SSP) for pink pandas. This program ensures the genetic well being of threatened and endangered species in zoos throughout North America.
